What should I do? Is it worth is to try to get it reframed? It's been sitting in a closet for the last 8 years.

I've been reading this forum about museum glass, etc. So Im just curious-slash-worried that my cheap framing messed it up.
What do you think is the problem? That it is stuck to to glass? Looking at it, it looks ok, I think? but I'm not sure if the framer stuck it to the back or anything. Worst case scenario, if it has been glued, just accept that's how this goes sometimes. Most people on here will have stories of how they badly framed things that later became valuable. People used to put Banksys in clip frames. It just means you bought it because you like it, not in the hopes of it making you rich.
Hope it all turns out to be ok. Chances are it will.

First as others have said - take it to Rooq - there are some amazing framers in NYC, but I've been using this team for a few years and they are great.

If it needs restoration work - take it to Paper Conservation Services - here is there website.
They just worked on a Banksy for me - it's now like new and in amazing condition.

It's the same team throughout - but I go to the location on East 4th.
But you can go to any of them.
As a reference they are the framers who did all the banksy tenners for Bottleneck - they have deep experience with Banksy / Invader etc.
You're in safe hands.
