Brand NEW Blek Le Rat Set!!, by anodyne13 on Apr 7, 2008 6:13:11 GMT 1, $250USD for one of these in an edition of 100 is an interesting alternative to paying $650 for another one of his prints. I actually think seeing the images in context is more interesting than bleks iamge as a stand alone, but im sure im in the minority. i also think prices will be around $300-350 USD in about 2-3 weeks time. so with your thinking, I'm better off to go take some Polaroids of some Banksy work, because they'll be just as collectible. Granted they're not signed, but I'd be able to sell them to you for quite a premium! sounds good to me.. so, you want a set of 4 "banksy" sprays for thousand quid?
If Banksy made a signed screenprint set of 4 prints of photos of his work in an edition of 100. Id gladly pay $1000 quid for them and so would you.

Brand NEW Blek Le Rat Set!!, by spirit on Apr 7, 2008 11:25:36 GMT 1, I really don't think these were underpriced at the show - they were priced about right. They are expensive obey prints (which normally sell for $35 each) not cheap Blek prints. I don't think these can even really be called Blek prints - as previously stated they are photos of Blek's work taken by his wife and printed by Obey. They can in no way be compared to Blek's BRP prints.

Brand NEW Blek Le Rat Set!!, by Matt-lock on Apr 7, 2008 18:11:46 GMT 1, The quality is definitely not that of the brp prints but it was never meant to be compared. I just took them for what they were...great looking black and white photos of an amazing artists street work that happened to be signed and numbered. I would glady spend $90 on a photo print that I think looks great...blek or otherwise.

Didn't Banksy release some photos of his work (signed) for charity a year or so ago? And for thousands if I remember rightly?
Just because you don't like something or you don't value the medium being sold doesn't mean it won't be worth something 12 months down the line.
