That being said, supposedly there were 50 on the preview Friday, and 50 last night, and all sold out quickly.

They are photos taken by Blek's wife, they are signed by blek/obey/blek's wife
Thats about all i know.
Don't think they are worth ยฃ600 though...more like ยฃ300/400

They're prints based on pictures of Blek street art, taken by his wife and then Shepard Fairey transformed them into a distressed screenprint. They really are pretty good and at $100 for an edition of only 100, they were an absolute steal. All of them sold out at the opening last night. After a 90 minute wait to get in, I managed to get a couple of the ones which were still available. Having said that, pretty shitty for someone to offer them for 10x the price the day after on here.
They also had nice digital photos of his work, again taken by his wife. Signed by Blek along with an actual stencilled rat on the piece - cracking value at $200 a pop.

At 500 for the set, it's a damn good price. Pictures really don't do them justice, they are awesome in the flesh, so to speak.

a) they're sold out
b) they're cheaper than anything blek/fairey has ever done before
c) that's it?
They're all quite nice in their own way, I'll gove them that, but the only one that would be remotely close to getting hung up on my wall would be the one with the gate on right hand side, and that's only because I think it's a damn nice gate!!
Other than that. I don't get it. I expect these pictures will be in his book and that'll do me nicely. Don't see the huge appeal of these at all.

Well not that I agree with this price tag the day after the show but I think the couple reasons you stated is exactly what makes these and most prints desireable to a large group of people.
And p.s. for all those that didn't get a chance to go it was actually only $350 plus tax for the set so they were really less than $100 a piece.

so with your thinking, I'm better off to go take some Polaroids of some Banksy work, because they'll be just as collectible. Granted they're not signed, but I'd be able to sell them to you for quite a premium!
