2 New Orleans Banksy pieces seriously damaged this Christmas, by Easy-Z on Dec 29, 2020 3:52:57 GMT 1, As most of you know by now (due to my shameless self promotion) I take care of the Banksy Umbrella Girl in New Orleans.
UPDATE DECEMBER 28TH 2020.
Nearly devastating damage done on Xmas. Someone using the tag "Team Robbo, and King Robbo" cut through the plastic and vandalized our girl. They also went across town and hit the Grey Ghost piece. We all know the history between Robbo and Banksy. Some fools decide to carry on the name Robbo and cause damage to Banksy pieces whenever they can. As I am out of New Orleans at the moment, once again I relied on Carlos Fundora and his awesome team at @nolaartwalk . Big thanks to Tyler Van Dyke, Loreli Lee, Nick Desenber, Jeremy Allison, WTF Toto, LeLuna, Mikey Van Dyke, Lumi St. Oegger (Tyler's brother) and all people who came out to lend a hand these last few days. Also big thanks to Douglas MacCash reporter for Nola.com and Jade Cunningham reporter for channel 4 news. The pictures I am posting of this event are not taken by me this time, and are a mixed credit to all the above named people.

This is a crap hack job. I fully get the concept. My opinion differs in this piece is enjoyed by many. Destroying it just for the sake of doing so is sophomoric at best.
When so poorly done, hard to see it as a true tribute. If you are going to tribute Robbo at lest do a good job. This looked like some junky nodding off mid tag.
Everyone is entitled to their opinion though.

Well everybody knows that.
And even if it was from a uK traveller, it still no sense.
I know guys that โhateโ Banksy on social media, tagging Robbo, and that have been to Dismaland, masked bal, and enjoyed it !
