it was done using a surgical scalpel though and is hidden. the printed instructions, number, and signature remain perfectly intact.

That's the question we will have to wait to find the answer to. I can't see me removing mine from the packet but you go to admit if you did the framing solution above is good, very good. I think generally it's accepted that removing it from the packet will harm it's value against the unopened ones.

I would accept the the earlier low numbered edition kits still are very much un demand. This was a large edition size though with alot bought to keep and sell on. I still think these later kits with the larger editions will be worth more in the future unopened.

Almost no answer! I sold the kit on ebay for an insane amount to a man who stick it on its house (he sends me pics)! Space Invader turns peolple mad so do as you want Dude!

Neither I think but could be some collector pushing up prices indeed. Or some collector with deep pockets buying the name but not a close follower to the "insider" market. Invasion kits often go at a very high price on auctions.

of course theres a reflection lol - it was taken with a camera.
however if you check the ebay page i took those pics with a better camera and it really looks invisible!
but in the flesh its so clear!
