Sticker etiquette , by Coach on Jan 25, 2021 21:48:08 GMT 1, I've never really been a writer but I was a tagger for many years. Now getting more into stickers and wondering what the etiquette is on using someone else's design as a tribute. I'm talking about changing the design enough for it to be different, but still instantly recognisable as a nod to the original. What do people know about this kind of thing? Cheers.
If you are able to, it might be a good idea to ask the artist whose work you are using, explain that it’s in tribute, and seek their nod. If they are d sad o famous that that isn’t possible, then they probably won’t know about or be bothered by your stickers, perhaps.
