Miss Bugs on eBay?, by bert on Apr 7, 2008 18:37:17 GMT 1, From the mailout of the last release - "If I'm informed of people selling them on at an over-inflated price shortly after the release I will delete them from my list and never accept their order again!"
Hopefully most went to fans though and the above isn't the reason!

Miss Bugs on eBay?, by Heavyconsumer on Apr 7, 2008 19:21:28 GMT 1, I think the real reason is that there were simply so few! I mean if there were only 15 released by MB and 15 presold by artrepublic, you wouldn't expect to see too many on the bay YET. I'm sure one or two will pop up over time and maybe that email did hit home and the flippers who did get one will wait a few months.

Miss Bugs on eBay?, by dave313perry on Apr 7, 2008 19:41:31 GMT 1, These threats are coupled with moast releases these days and kind of goes as standard, but if they have gone into the hands of people who plan on selling them quicktime they will do so - i just think this highlights how there not being 5 threads on here about the release was a positive thing to a certain degree - i however retract that statement if 5 appear on ebay within the next couple of weeks!!!
just think its class artwork at a brilliant price, why sell?

Miss Bugs on eBay?, by spencerlee on Apr 7, 2008 20:35:43 GMT 1, I think because most releases kind of snuck out there without massive hype and the Miss Bugs name was known by some people....dare I say it 'true fans' who want to keep it rather than flippers. I remember when I got WOAD on it's release day, the # available crept down really slowly. Nothing like the blink and you miss it these days.
With the next release with Pure Evil, I expect many more to appear, because there are many more copies, the print is advertised on here more, and people are realising they can make money.

Miss Bugs on eBay?, by themightyreds on Apr 7, 2008 22:18:09 GMT 1, I can't see many people going for the Pure Evil/MB mashup set for profit. Too many "if's". MissBugs is certainly very popular at the mo so those should sellout first but at 50 there's plenty out there to go to the collectors. Plus there's 100 of the mash-ups too.

I believe theres now 100 of each print being released..
I think the 2 feat miss bugs will sell out rapidly due to the miss Bugs name..
And to think a few months back there was very little interest with previous prints hanging around for a good while, from memory Harven, attack, manty & a few others were fans but also shows how many flippersrnow around here nowadays and follow the leader regardless of the art being good/bad etc etc..

Miss Bugs on eBay?, by Deleted on Apr 8, 2008 21:18:51 GMT 1, I remember when Diamond Carrot came out and thought "that's unique." When WOAD came out I thought, "I must have that." Great images and quality work!

Miss Bugs on eBay?, by skelly on Apr 9, 2008 20:22:13 GMT 1, I think the Miss Bugs coming out tomorrow is great...the images I have seen of it look nice, and I like the meaning. The pure evil part looks great too, two top artists. I think I don't understand the pure evil part as well because I am not from england perhaps? They still look well together

Miss Bugs on eBay?, by dave313perry on Apr 9, 2008 21:27:43 GMT 1, I would like to see an image of the actual finished screenprint, alll the images iv seen knocking around seem to be digital rather than actual finished product, always seems the case with alot of artists and galleries, kind of gets on my nerves as the images often dont do the prints justice, sure it will be good though, not sure which im gona go for yet still thinking...

Yeah, I only have WAOD out of all of them, but it's my favourite by a long way, and possibly my favourite print from last year.

Miss Bugs on eBay?, by gilsteph on Apr 9, 2008 21:52:54 GMT 1, Miss Bugs prints arent realy prints. Its a screen print and then been painted on, porn pasted on it and basically attacked .
I dont think a picture can do them justice. I was amazed when I got my Diamond Bugs. Bought it on impulse and have been collecting ever since.
Anyway heres an attempt to show you what I mean :

That's a great explanation gil. I agree, each one is like an original. I personally love handfinished stuff (a la Faile) as it's a cheaper alternative to originals but still has the artist's touch.
