Great artist discovery, by mathi on Jan 19, 2021 22:07:15 GMT 1, Hi guys,
This is my first post in here. I'd like to thanks all of you, as there is not one single day since 6 months now without checking this forum. Probably a very bad habit but I like it too much. I have discovered so many great artists thanks to you.
On my side I am quite new to collection with on the past 6 months a Bisco smith, a Murakami and recently I got crazy with the first editions of Amaoka Baofo and Sungi Mlengeya that I am still waiting for.
Any way, what push me to write my first post was the studio visit last sunday of a French Artist I discovered. I am also on a Facebook group and reactions were quite positive which why I am also sharing it here.
His name is Jean-Luc Maniouloux. He is quite new on IG where you can find his work under jeanluc_maniouloux.
He is doing sculptures / visuals with real objects and bugs glued to several layer of glass. Photos don't do good to his work. In real life it is just amazing everything seems to float. You really have the impression that the fly just blew the match in front of you and someone pushing the stop button.

Great artist discovery, by Artlover on Jan 30, 2021 13:10:36 GMT 1, They are so delicate. They need to be hand delivered from Paris. He’s a lovely guy and his son will come to London to deliver for the right amount.
