WallStreetBets are coming for BANKSY prints, by lv90210 on Jan 29, 2021 10:05:29 GMT 1, on paper the price of GME makes zero sense. if the reddit massive don't take their profit now eventually they'll get carried out. They will wait for the big squeeze today and hopefully they are smart enough to take their win afterwards. If some of them are really smart, they take now the profit they made so far to be on the safe side. They are not smart, there is just lots of them.......

WallStreetBets are coming for BANKSY prints, by a2b on Jan 29, 2021 10:15:23 GMT 1, It has certainly caused panic amongst the establishment, part of me wants to see the hedge funds go under but then I wonder how many ordinary workers pensions are linked to these funds and will end up suffering.
I think the money will be too tempting for a lot of this group, it's a bit like saying I will never sell this print then you get offered something you can't refuse.

I work for a company whose share price is regulary affected by these hedge funds, there isn't a day without some "expert" saying the company should be broken up for bigger profit. These people have no regard for the affect they have on peoples lives and are constantly chasing the next victim but i do worry about the eventual outcome if they are taken down.

WallStreetBets are coming for BANKSY prints, by ubl on Jan 29, 2021 12:23:23 GMT 1, It is pretty bad. This article was quite interesting as well. Its about how retail investor apps like Robinhood and Trading 212 stopped open trading and only allow selling of these stocks (GME etc.). While these retail investor apps are actually owned by big financial institutions, who own the companies that have shorted these stocks. Getting all the buys and sells through before they hit the market and live off order flows.

I think the money will be too tempting for a lot of this group, it's a bit like saying I will never sell this print then you get offered something you can't refuse. I don't think ordinary workers will be impacted because even if the fund that the pension manager invests in goes up 1B% they will still get a fixed payment. In fact, I would argue that the pensioner wants the least amount of risk possible (i.e. fixed income) because they don't see any of the upside from riskier strategies ... But then again, as this forum as showed me, I don't really know anything.

This is clear evidence Banksy was in fact behind the GameStop short squeeze. This is the missing link.

I’m not in GME just watching from the sidelines. It's over. Look up what circuit breakers are and what they do to a stock.

WallStreetBets are coming for BANKSY prints, by noraml on Jan 30, 2021 8:15:11 GMT 1, It has certainly caused panic amongst the establishment, part of me wants to see the hedge funds go under but then I wonder how many ordinary workers pensions are linked to these funds and will end up suffering. I think the money will be too tempting for a lot of this group, it's a bit like saying I will never sell this print then you get offered something you can't refuse.
Then the hedgefunders will end up in jail where they belong for breach of fiduciary duty and market manipulation. And every one of the rich fuckers that is on the board of directors and management team will lose their fortune to those pensioners.
As long as we don’t let the wrong lawyers take control. They’re in on the gambit. Believe me, I know who they are.

Do you really think that's how it will work? How much of that money could easily be recovered is debatable and at what cost financially to the ordinary pensioner holder?
I'm in no way saying let the Hedge funds get away with what they are doing at the moment but everyone has to realise there will be people affected who have no idea how their pension fund is involved in all this.

They’re in on the gambit. Believe me, I know who they are. Do you really think that's how it will work? YES How much of that money could easily be recovered is debatable and at what cost financially to the ordinary pensioner holder? That depends ENTIRELY on the integrity of the lawyers and judges involved. I'm in no way saying let the Hedge funds get away with what they are doing at the moment but everyone has to realise there will be people affected who have no idea how their pension fund is involved in all this. It’s not just pensioners. It is nearly everyone you would think knows better. Most judges and lawyers are not experienced enough in this type of law to understand how to fight it. And the ones that do are the ones that give zero shits about your average pensioner. [/br]
My Dear,
I’m sorry to say that I’m a securities law expert and worked with these scumbag lawyers long long ago. Accordingly, I have seen their greed driven sociopathic tendencies first hand. The depth of their capacity for evil is immeasurable.
But they do have very deep pockets. We just need to make sure the right hands are digging into them. Don’t look to politicians either. Sure, there are laws in place to protect pensioners and 401k holders, and there is a lot of liability to go around. Did politicians choose to take care of the public in 2008? Ha.
You may think I’m full of it, but I promise you all that I will personally give up every weapon in my arsenal (and I have many) to make sure these market manipulators will pay and that whatever they pay goes back to the public.
I have seen it all: marital affairs, secret bank accounts, unlawful alliances between “competitors”, sexual assault payoffs, leaders who knowingly employee rapists and pedophiles... it’s all there. When/if these degenerates make their next victims the middle class money they manage, you have my word on this. I can name names. I have witnesses and evidence to corroborate. And you can be damn sure that they have already tried to silence me in submission. Guess that’s how I know I’m a formidable threat.
Most of these hedgefunders are American, and if you know any that aren’t, please let me know so I can do some international legal research.
I’m no robinhood, but I’ll be damned if I let the rich keep fucking the poor

Well, I just read that shitty class action complaint and I’m about 99% sure that that it won’t come close to reaching class certification. So, basically, the little guy is shit out of luck. Very poorly written complaint (with typos!) and clearly someone does not know the difference between a complaint and a motion. Is this all a joke? Are you you just fucking with me? Because this is too dumb to believe.
