JR, an art book on cooking recipes made by the greatest cook, by Lroy on Jan 28, 2021 16:00:59 GMT 1, I spoke yesterday about this JR signed book on another thread.. We have not only Invader in France ;_)
It's not about this signed bookd by JR and I know, JR puts out a print and a book a month or every two months.
Nevertheless, I find the project innovative: this book (signed) is a compilation of the greatest chefs who have worked for a restaurant with social appeal and allowing deprived people to eat master menus, for the modest sum of 9 euros. .
I like this project, it mixes art, contemporary and mutual aid. I find this concept new (Banksy did it on a different scale with the Welwolme mat and migrant aid) and I hope that, more and more, artists will combine art, sponsorship and humanitarian aid, in order to bring together the poor and the people, the untouchable and the rich. When volunteering takes artistic and singular forms.
(Note that the CF Books Art Publishing House, sponsored by the photographer and gallery owner, Clรฉmentine De La Ferroniรจre, offers Photographic " Hors les Murs " exhibitions, and also very beautiful and rare books on the film, La Haine for example)
