I don't think it's necessary to register the print to your name at Pest Control.
Couldn't hurt though....
PC COA is most important.

If youโre planning to keep it for a long time, why wouldnโt you want your property officially registered in your name? The fact it takes 2 months or 12 months is largely irrelevant.

Shouldn't be a problem with a POW COA and coming from Laz....
Even if you are not planning to sell now,
If ever you would need to sell, it can take a long before you would receive one.
So best to have one in hand in case of emergency.

Shouldn't be a problem with a POW COA and coming from Laz.... Even if you are not planning to sell now, If ever you would need to sell, it can take a long before you would receive one. RE split opinions you mention above what would be the downside to registering a print in your own name apart from the ยฃ24 charge it incurs nowadays?
It took me over 5 years to register prints in my own name but i recall a thread in here discussing the merits of registering in your own name and i registered them; this was when it was free to do so. I registered one last year and paid the ยฃ24 fee and it took a few mths, i retained the existing COA.

I would think, but cld be wrong, that if you did sell that there is a high likelihood that the buyer would want to register it in their name. That being the case the buyer would kick off the registration process and part of that would be that PC would contact the seller to confirm that they sold it to the buyer and unless you as the seller blanked the request from PC then they would confirm you were the owner and you had now sold it.

Mine are registered with them as it was so much easier to do then but I do wonder how and where the database is stored and also who has access.
