Granted there may be one or two collectors on here but people are only seeing the signature and dollar signs with this.
I can assure you not everyone. I enjoy very much collecting signed art monographs. This will be my third Kaws one, though I have many others by other artists, including Jenny Saville, Koons, J&D Chapman, Jonas Wood, and many many more. This book is going to be cherished like the others.
My point being, I like to believe that there are still plenty of genuine collectors here who love acquiring art and things like this, without ยฃ or $ being their primary motive.

Iโve never thought about it.
Iโm assuming that if I had a major flood or fire each book (there must be over a 1,000) would be an individual item and fall within the limit of my contents insurance.

I have used Bookbuddy and archived all my books ( great tool btw! ) - will speak to my insurance guy if the normal home insurance covers the precious books as well.

I just presumed this would be only available as a physical product to pick up by attendees only. obviously Iโm not condoning any breaking of Covid restrictions and would always respect and want others to consider the health of their communities over a piece of paper with someoneโs hand written name. ๐๐ป

Thats funny, i did not notice any guidance or closure of stores when i was there recently.
I was surprised at the lack of enforcement and people wondering about with (literally) the masks and pants hanging down.
Maybe just in this gallery then (who wont be shipping to the UK anyway)

We donโt wonder why 500,000 have died. President Trump and his people ignored it and played it down due to political fears and general incompetence.
