In the end it was this or 7. The 2 slightly more "abstract" options

Hopefully Heni will cancel one order.
Interesting to see that if like me you need to vault these for a while you are immediately charged storage from today’s date despite these potentially not being ready for 12 weeks !!

Damien Hirst H9 • The Virtues, by Adam The Collector on Mar 3, 2021 17:44:30 GMT 1, (H9-7) for me! Very excited for my first work by Hirst. Love all 8 images, would have ideally liked to purchase two but with this being my first work of "fine art" printed in such a manner, I would like to see one in the flesh first before spending more money. $192 express shipping to the states is pretty damn good. I think many will look back at this release with jealously and dissapointment they decided against.

Edition sizes will be very large indeed
Do not buy to sell for a profit I repeat do not ....
Buy because you like it
Which is the reason you should be buying any art

Damien Hirst H9 • The Virtues, by Art Buy Guy on Mar 3, 2021 23:18:21 GMT 1, Does anyone have an update on order numbers? Really curious how many orders have been made, even though it isn't indicative of edition sizes.
I just ordered H9-1 Justice (yes, mainstream, but my family co-CEO likes it most 😬) at about 10:05 p.m. GMT. My order number is: LEV-19904891xx
Poster Bob: Does this help to make an estimate?
My guess still is 5,000 prints in total for all 8 editions together.

I think that H9-1 will have the largest edition size, perhaps over 1,000.

Damien Hirst H9 • The Virtues, by dirtypete on Mar 4, 2021 0:02:54 GMT 1, You’re unlikely to make any large returns on an open edition, but at least you can get the image you like and don’t feel forced to make a rushed decision.
I think these are nice images and if restricted to small editions people would be fighting to get them. If you don’t like them now because they are timed editions, I suggest that you liked the thought of potential returns rather than the image.
I’m sure these will bring people who decide to hang them a lot of joy. Flippers not so much.
I really hope Banksy does a timed edition charity print one day. Think of the money he could’ve raised if he had done a timed edition of the NHS print!

I challenge this logic. I don’t think anyone buy art hoping it will go down. Like a house you can live in it, enjoy it but you want it to be worth more than you paid
You’re talking about bit a of paper / plastic / metal with a sig because you think it’s desirable / a brand / more valuable because it’s a famous artist. I saw a dead ringer for this in John Lewis for £200 if you’re not bothered about the value and just like the image save some money

Everytime I went on to Instagram today it had the ad. Id love to know if it his followers that are bring targetted or is it wider than that.
Each time I saw it I was very tempted. I love these but will not be going for one. They tick a lot of boxes for me, but I have nowhere to hang one at the moment. I will start regretting it the minute it closes
