The salient point is that the blockchain will echo in eternity around the universe and transmit to other galaxies and solar systems long after mere markings on primitive wood based substrates have been forgotten about. True, some scraps of paper may survive and be hoarded and protected by the faithful through the aeons.

NFT would remove any loss of value due to damage, if you crease your bansky are they saying put it on an NFT without referencing the crease and burn the old one, somehow recuperating the lost value? You can't hang an NFT on a wall either or visually see it.
Moronic stunt to promote businesses. NFTs used for art and digital assets provide proof of ownership, simply saying you own a Banksy but don't have one will certainly not transfer the full value, maybe 50% of the value.
Absolute geniuses, hopefully no real collectors think turning art to NFTs is a good idea, let the hype pass and lets get back to being able to look at art on our walls ๐
Good luck with the nft whoever bought it, certainly not going up in value the same way physical ones will. I might scan my banksy 5 times and sell it 5 times over, who will know if it was sold before, the 3rd one would be as fake as the 1st one.. ๐
