I haven't tried to order from that website, but when I was at the Louisiana museuem last month they had posters for sale from lots of previous exhibitions. I can see that they sell the poster you like on their website, but I don't speak Danish so I can't tell if they sell online or if they are just showing whats in the museum shop
It is an excellent musuem, and we had no queue for the Yayoi Kusama exhibit, plus plenty of time in it. Will go back again next time I'm in Denmark.

Try the top 3 if your sending to auction and check the sold lots to get an idea. Best of luck with them I lived ten years in Japan and I am a big fan of YK works. I would def recommend anyone to check for authenticity first as a lot (a lot I insist) of fake ones are circulating all with amazing and unique stories always. As for the one proposed, they look amazing ! Would love to send an offer if the price is reasonable and authenticity proven. Thanks !

It happened to a friend of mine some years back. He travelled to Japan and ended up buying a Kusama print from a gallery (no idea what the name of the gallery was). The print looked amazing, I would have never guessed it was a fake. The image was a butterfly. It was framed and enjoyed for some years. Said friend decided to sell it. The potential buyer did his due diligence prior to closing the deal and it turned out the print was a fake. How they managed to determine it was, I have no idea. I know both parties involved and they also knew each other so it wasn't a case of a stranger trying to pull a fast one (although the gallery in Japan sure did). Tread carefully when it comes to Kusama prints. |

Nice poster, I went to that show. So did I. Loved the exhibit. The Museum itself was also very interesting in its layout and position, right by the sea. The outdoor sculpture park was quite special. The Giacometti Gallery, bathed in natural light from the windows that look out on the pond and greenery... I loved the whole experience, even the train ride from Copenhagen to the museum. |
