Coming 19.03.2021 to Nifty Gateway is the first D*Face NFT collection! This is a totally new venture for D and his art and one that we hope youโll enjoy experiencing as much as he enjoyed creating! No problem, weโve got you covered. NFT means Non Fungible Token, which, to put it simply, is an entry on a blockchain that underlies a new form of cryptocurrency, kinda like a bitcoin. However, unlike bitcoins or other crypto which are essentially indistinguishable from one another (i.e.fungible), NFTs are completely different from one another. This allows them to represent one-of-a-kind things, like a brand new artwork by D*Face for exampleโฆ
Itโs kinda like owning a D*Face print edition, but itโs entirely digital, viewable on any device you so choose, and you can instantly share and trade it with other collectors around the world. The artwork is still the artwork and the blockchain part is like your certificate of authenticity. Itโs a fascinating new world and holds a whole new future for the art world.
