It looks like the current catalogue of all Invader prints will soon be available again from his homepage. I was able to get hold of a copy the first time... I wish everyone good luck!

Catalogue raisonné, by kjg on Mar 25, 2021 13:22:11 GMT 1, I know, it's just a book and it is not important at all. But I will explain it anyway.
There is a first edition of 4.000 books. That edition sold out.
There will be a second print run (a.k.a. second edition) which won't have the print 'First edition of 4.000'.
So there is definitely a difference between the first and second print run/edition and that difference is the reference to the edition number and/or edition size.

I am not sure of that - or the bookstore keeper does not know about what he spoke : half an hour ago, I have been to see one that " he has received last week or this week ".. A bit weird as other shop did not received them yet ( next week ) ... I asked him to open it and it was exactly the same as the first edition with written at the back of the book , first edition, 4000 ex...
1, Invader made another printing - but not changed the edtion - of the first one, just keeping the same book ( we have had a discussion on here, and I think that if it's a similar one, an editor can " cheat " with number, it's not even cheatin he has the right to do it... 2. The guy shown me a first edition that he still had in the shop...
Anyway, I have still the sticker with the date and the name of the book, and the ticket typed february, so, It could be a plus and a proof of the fist edition....
as a friend told me, he tried to cart one today ( he bought one on line one month ago ), but he coud not.... I think Invader just made a few, I guess... I don't know...

This would be a second printing, but that does not make it a second edition.
Printing and edition aren't the same term in the book world. A change in edition number is not the norm for an additional run of the presses. Change in edition number is usually reserved for significant changes/updates/revisions/etc.
Edit: just saw the picture above. First edition, second printing is legit.

There are about 30 different printings of the first edition of Alice in Wonderland, thought the first printing is the most sought after. Edition generally means changes in the text; printing means the same text, just more copies
