Bristol protests, by tab1 on Jul 4, 2021 10:24:22 GMT 1, That was beautiful ,the way you so delicately patronised me deserves a round of applause, and by telling me that it’s not a dig ,makes it that convincing and gives it so much weight and substance. You are fabulous love your work you are an asset. it was not meant towards you unless you log into other accounts?👀 But you are sensitive around the topic of mental health hence reiterated it’s not a dig as I assumed a comment by you would appear Enjoy your day😎

Bristol protests, by oliver21 on Jul 25, 2021 7:29:44 GMT 1, The most sensational stories make the news as usual, the violence is prevalent. Too many people base their inner fears on how people/groups look seems like social disorder anxiety is going to effect a few people when they come out of lockdown. Anxiety is a sort of fear that can be due to various reasons. The fear before the exams is also a sort of anxiety. In such cases it is always better to take long breath and be cool and calm. However, if anxiety is due to some other reasons then try to start some yoga and meditation on regular basis. Avoid taking some medicines to overcome this as it can cause severe side effects such as foggy heads. For more info about the side effects of such medicines please refer to the Canadian Pharmacy website.

Bristol protests, by moron on Jul 25, 2021 21:05:06 GMT 1, People who are anti racist should not be wearing Dr Marten footwear. For decades untill a few years ago, one of the Dr Marten boot colors the company was selling was called "n****r brown" Proof? Dr Martins were the footwear of skinheads before there was a right wing racist type of skinhead. It's a fact Coach. "n****r brown" was one of the production colors listed by Dr Martens back in the 60's 70's 80's 90's. At the time boot and shoe polish was also available in *n****r brown" from some shoe polish companies.
Dr Martens nearly went bankrupt and moved manufacturing to China. They had discontinued this name for the brown color but it was still available in the original name in China for a few years after.
There is a lot that people do not know about Dr Martens and the antics of the owners.
Anyway now with all the PC and woke ness marketing. Dr Martens have added to their color range for their boots and shoes a brown color called "crazy horse" which is described as, ""Colour: DARK BROWN CRAZY HORSE / 11822203""
""A new leather for an old classic: this iconic 8-eye 1460 boot is made with Crazy Horse, a solid leather with a worn, distressed look.""
""Crazy Horse is heavyweight leather with a tough, worn-in appearance""

Crazy Horse, Brown with a worn distressed look. I wonder what the Sioux tribe would make of that?

Bristol protests, by moron on Jul 25, 2021 21:07:49 GMT 1, You really have chosen to splatter your hate-filled diarrhoea all over the forum this evening haven’t you, Ploppi. It’s all very unpleasant. Clearly trolling to get a rise. It can’t be serious. Best ignored, I reckon. Sometimes the truth is hard to swallow. Don't fall for Stickfans trolling and diatribe. He has been banned from this forum before and he recently went on a mission attacking Thierry Noirs for no reason. (well we know the reason in reality)

The Windrush migrants, and others.
Unlike you and your hypocritical little clique on here.

Stay safe all. and you know the tactics used by antifa and rent a mob at demo's.
Were you also connected with or a member of the Socialist Workers party when the hierarchy were raping naive young women who joined and had it covered up?

Some racist people adopted cherry red Dr Martins boots. They, as appalling people, may have referred to the colour of their own boots in a racist way. But without seeing a legitimate source I don’t believe that the company itself adopted a racist name for its boots from the 60’s to the 90’s as you state.

Bristol protests, by moron on Jul 25, 2021 21:50:22 GMT 1, wait, what’s wrong with doc martens boots? my sister loved them growing up, was into the grunge thing, nirvana, pearl jam, etc. Ok, because you asked. The short version. Docs as worn by trendy environmentalists and yoof etc etc.
Dr Martens are made using their patented "hot knife method" to join the PVC sole onto the welt. Dr Martens describes this as melting the sole and welt together. In reality the process is hot knife welded where a blade with a temperature of 700 degrees melts the PVC causing it to catch fire and burn which produces dioxins.
For decades these dioxins were extracted and pumped straight out with no filtering into the neighbouring environment, contaminating the air and peoples houses depending on which way the wind was blowing. The worst was in the 1990's when Dr Martens set up a big manufacturing operation in a village in the UK and pumped out constant dioxin particles. Residents in nearby houses were affected and could not open their windows in the summer. The local environmental health dept refused to do anything about it despite the Health and Safety Executive stating that dioxins are produced by the production method. Reason why the local council environmental health dept refused to do their jobs correctly is known by locals. Apart from spewing out dioxins. Burning PVC also produces hydrogen chloride. This was also pumped out into the neighbouring environment from their factories for decades and their large operation. The hydrogen chloride being produced meant that the metal chimneys on the roof of the factories are regularly eaten away by the acid in the hydrogen chloride emissions. Hydrogen Chloride cloud is incidentally the chemical responsible for the Bhopal India deaths by a chemical company.
Greenpeace UK were made fully aware of that Dr Martens was pumping out dioxins and hydrogen chloride and those trendy Dr Marten wearing Greenpeace persons at their HQ covered it up. AS in they were fully aware and refused to mention it publicly. Coincidentally at the same time, Dr Martens decided to sponsor Glastonbury Festival and had a stall there. Guess who else had a stall at Glastonbury. Greenepeace UK, who also coincidentally got a big donation from Glastonbury.
Dr Martens so called 100% vegan footwear range. The truth is that the raw materials including the dyes etc used to produce their vegan footwear are tested on animals.
During the Falklands war there was a trade embargo between the UK and Argentina. At the time there was more than one allegation from insiders that Dr Martens were breaking the embargo by secretly importing leather from there at a cheap price. (anything for profit)
There is a lot more too.
The video shows the patented hot knife method. It shows the PVC catching fire and the fumes (dioxins) produced and how most of the fumes are extracted.
It also shows the worker not wearing a mask and being exposed to these fumes.
This production process is a toxic waste incinerator and should have been banned years ago.

Once again, can you point me in the direction of a reputable source for this accusation? I choose not to believe you because you have not yet done so. If you do, then I’m perfectly capable of conceding that I was wrong.

Bristol protests, by moron on Jul 26, 2021 0:25:09 GMT 1, who went to Jamaica and within a short space of time managed to upset the locals enough so that they decided to pull a wall down where he had sprayed his girl with a balloon image and had a dog do a crap on it?
Who went round saying that he wanted to bring the word "n****r" back into mainstream use again.
Who told a Jamaican photographer that he would call his people in London and make sure the Jamaican photographer did not get any work (in other words black listed in London) That is a clear example of using white privilege.
Whigga Banksy that's who.

Crazy Horse, Brown with a worn distressed look. I wonder what the Sioux tribe would make of that? Yeah . I’m not sure the tribe welcomes this with open arms

... stay away from country cottages ... they are polluting the countryside ...

Bristol protests, by hibster on Jul 26, 2021 13:45:01 GMT 1, Once again, can you point me in the direction of a reputable source for this accusation? I choose not to believe you because you have not yet done so. If you do, then I’m perfectly capable of conceding that I was wrong. Is this n word brown a real thing about dr Martin’s? I’m ready to burn my 3 pairs. Including. Vintage 1990 shell toes . Perhsis I will make a nft and donate all proceeds to naacp in a word, no, it is not a real thing

If what moron was saying was true, I simply can’t believe that I would not even have heard a rumour of it ever before, despite having worn dr martins for many years. If he’d been prepared to provide a link to a reputable source I’d have been happy to reconsider. I can’t see that he has.

Ok firestarter. So are you condoning violence in protests then like several others here. That to me sounds pretty shit. No one said people should not protest, the guy in this video is clearly off his tits like the rest of them. He is not the extremist protester though, so harmless. He is just funny No one is condoning the abhorrent behaviour of violence, the response was to your statement of assertion but in fact an assumption of the individuals attending the protests being stinky, dirty, unwashed and being intimidating based on their appearance, which displays a shallow depth of personality and displays an insecure superficial individual, usually the quality traits of a sexist, racist, homophobic individual . Your thought process could be easily applied to the police, there are many individuals within that group of police officers that have committed horrendous actions against the public, but they are individual actions and although part of a larger group they are responsible for their own actions and do represent the actions of the police as a whole. In any groups there will always be individuals that commit atrocities but their actions are not a reflection of the whole group and do not represent the values of that group and we as educated individuals should cast individuals actions separate to that of a group There are many other horrific crimes committed by uk police officers but I shall not bring up the topics as they are disturbing , but with your thought process should we look down on all police officers as a few have committed horrendous atrocities ? Yes there are imbeciles attending these protests but they are not the majority attending that are only there for peaceful protests and to raise awareness to the situation and do not represent the core value of the protests, in the current climate no physical protests should be had . If these protests were not had, how many here would be aware of the content in the new bill or even be aware of it ? www.google.com/amp/s/amp.theguardian.com/uk-news/2021/mar/19/west-midlands-police-officer-attacked-woman-pc-oliver-banfieldwww.google.com/amp/s/www.sundaypost.com/fp/police-officer-sex-assault/amp/www.google.com/amp/s/amp.theguardian.com/uk-news/2021/mar/12/sarah-everard-met-police-officer-wayne-couzens-chargedwww.google.com/amp/s/www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/crime/pc-declan-jones-assault-birmingham-west-midlands-police-iopc-b1083902.html%3fampwww.google.com/amp/s/amp.theguardian.com/society/2019/oct/20/domestic-abuse-within-police-force-to-be-investigatedwww.personneltoday.com/hr/hampshire-police-racist-sexist-homophobic-officers-sacked/www.google.com/amp/s/www.vice.com/amp/en/article/qjpvn5/at-least-one-police-officer-a-month-in-the-uk-loses-their-job-due-to-drug-takingwww.google.com/amp/s/amp.theguardian.com/uk-news/2020/jun/25/two-met-police-officers-arrested-over-photo-of-murdered-sistersassets.publishing.service.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/655710/Deaths_in_police_custody_A_review_of_the_international_evidence.pdf news.sky.com/story/sarah-everard-murder-all-police-officers-should-be-re-vetted-following-wayne-couzens-case-says-former-chief-superintendent-12424756

Bristol protests, by JW on Oct 3, 2021 17:05:53 GMT 1, i wonder if B will visit australia at this time…. do a work in protest of the draconian, authoritarian lockdowns n the arbitrary rules currently in play…. that’s what happens when u give up ur guns, like Australia did in 1996, the gov can now do anything they like, as the 2nd amendment was put in place just 4 such a purpose as when a tyrannical govern any tries 2 china or russia it’s people into submission…. now that i think about it, can Banksy even go there? they even excepting visitors from other countries currently? i bet he could sneak in somehow then do a piece, that would b awesome lol! Everything about this post is just so lame.
Australia is guilty of being a nanny state at times* in my view and I can't say they've been a global role model in how to deal with COVID (who has been?), but your gun comment is naive and ignorant.
You can own hand guns in Australia for justifiable reasons, but licensing and background checks are strict and the public are banned from owning shotguns and semi-automatic weapons. You flippantly mentioned 1996 as the year when Australia decided to "give up ur guns", but failed to acknowledge the Port Arthur massacre was that year, where 35 people died and 23 were wounded. The killer used two semi-automatic rifles. While public sentiment was already shifting in the country, this was seen as the straw that broke the camel's back for gun reform.
What would you suggest Australians do if they had the same precious Second Amendment right to bear arms as the US? "shoot the gov lol"?
Normally I'd prefer to attack the argument rather than the person, but I genuinely think you're the problem. Your views, backed up by your grammar, are juvenile at best.
Don't be a stereotype. Perhaps spend some time educating yourself rather than spouting off dumb shit on internet forums.
* Re: the nanny state comment - This article actually resonates with me - www.smh.com.au/national/sydney-appeared-in-an-amputated-form-the-view-from-hotel-quarantine-20210916-p58sbr.html As does the Clive James quote - “The problem with Australians is not that so many of them are descended from convicts, but that so many of them are descended from prison officers.”
The gun debate is a totally different story.

Your, frankly awful, opinion that Australia would be better off now without gun restrictions is just so wrong. It ignores the fact that such restrictions are overwhelmingly supported by the people. It ignores the lives saved by gun restrictions. Have you checked the statistics regarding the amount of people killed by guns in USA versus those in countries that have strict gun restriction laws recently. They are sobering. I honestly can’t imagine ever wanting to own a gun.

Bristol protests, by ollie123 on Oct 3, 2021 21:30:00 GMT 1, This forum used to be about ART and calling out flippers even though 99% on here are flippers which was or is kinda funny. Now, just like our work places and schools it has descended into a bipartisan hateful tribal place with no interest in other ideas, and no room for a different view of the world. Reading recent threats of late makes me sad and sometimes furious. This hate and those who fuel it are the stupid people amongst us who have nothing better to do, or are missing the love they need. Instead they spend their time w@nking themselves to sleep at night and blaming the government for their misery ‘It’s all Boris’s fault’ I have clearly descended briefly myself but just to point out the fact that this anger and dismissiveness of others ideas is a slippery slope. But more importantly if you can not keep your opinion to yourself. Start a Reddit thread of run for mayor or forgive me but DO ONE.

Bristol protests, by ollie123 on Oct 3, 2021 22:05:09 GMT 1, Yeah that’s me I don’t feel the impulse to comment on everything I read. It might be a lack of ego on my part. I’m what would be known as a lurker in media terms and you’re a super user. But it obviously makes you happy to comment on every single thread, which is actually Kinda sweet. By the way Thierry Noir is king and Mr Doodle is awful.

Bristol protests, by Coach on Oct 3, 2021 22:24:57 GMT 1, triggered all u trolls with a paragraph or 2 lol…. y’all chumps should just block me, streamline ur UAA experience down 2 an echo chamber where everybody agrees with u, like the typical liberal/leftist majority here, as freedom of speech isn’t big here, like it is where i reside 🇺🇸
Oh, come on now. You are mistaking people disagreeing with your opinion, and stating why, with some imagined infringement of your right to free speech. No one, as far as I can see, said you could not voice your opinion, or that your post should be removed. Merely that they disagreed with it.
