is what he’s doing ok? IMO whilst it’s arguably fine to be influenced by another (even perhaps to the extent of Brainwash) I can’t believe he’s getting away with being a legitimate artist, charging thousands by so directly ripping off another.
Being such a miserable git, when I saw lots of folk commenting how amazing his new print is - a piece that is identical (albeit for two words) to one of Harland’s - his gallery quickly removed my comment, which makes me think, are they are trying to hide how similar his work is to Harlands from his buying audience? Or do you think his buyers accept that they are nothing but a cheaper reproduction? I personally would be fuming if I spent 10k on a piece to find out it’s such a rip off of another.

Penguin Books like what Harland has done and I believe have one/some of his work in their head office. There was a rumour that Harland wasn't pleased the Connor Bros had done a poo on his doorstep.

Hmmmmm. Are they selling? I’d be willing to bet that no one here has spent thousands on a McQueen. I’d also bet that no one here personally knows someone that has spent thousands on a McQueen.. Not hard for a gallery to mark something “sold out”.
