Avant Arte are pretty good at filling out the customs notice appropriately so they charge 5 not 20 ... if not you have to go through the HMRC to claim it back |

It took about 2-3 months for my last one with the HMRC from submitting the form to getting the money back. Google Form C285 Application for repayment or remission |
