As is was down to an issue with their booking system they have refunded me the fee I had to pay to Fedex. Was expecting it to be a long drawn out affair so really impressed with how quickly it was dealt with by the team. Thanks for your responses. |

As a first step it's always best to contact the sender, as usually the fault is on them and it's good to see above that AA recognised it. I no longer buy from a few because they consistently under-describe items leading to this problem.

I've had a number of reimbursements from HMRC for shipments via DHL and FedEx. It feels like you're posting the form into a black box but it does work, albeit it takes some time and I actually found them more responsive than taking it up with DHL/FedEx (who consistently have told me they don't have the ability to make decisions on codes, which is often based on what the sender has entered). As a first step it's always best to contact the sender, as usually the fault is on them and it's good to see above that AA recognised it. I no longer buy from a few because they consistently under-describe items leading to this problem. |
