Well its not that rare judging by the number of prints that have changed hands; only on e-bay I think over 200 prints have been sold this far!!! What was rare was to be able to get one from source...
I myself had to buy one with secondary market prices, thankfully at the start when loads were for sale, so quite cheeper than the 800-1200 price tag. However I still see some reasonably priced on ebay (650-850?). Best of luck on your search!

( I did not see at 800, anyway now, I avoid eba , not for fakes but for shipping ( the price and almost all waht is happening at the moment with post offices, dhl, delays, damages etc ) , VAT and all is overestimated : sellers take people for dumbs or wallets : too expensive at the beginning and... at the end !

I got from secondary (ebay) the Marianne print which is signed and editioned. As I have mentioned some time ago a very kind forum member from the other side of the pond helped me out, the one and only thrash822!!!! It arrived a couple of days ago in my post office, but (typical) I am away, so probably I ll have a friend pick it up on my behalf.

I looked through the entire Fairey upcoming auctions list for HA. There are indeed several copies of this print on paper upcoming at HA, bit nothing on metal. Could you post link to where you saw the Marianne piece on metal?
