She said they fill it with ink each night and that there is a stamp in the machine that stamps the bottom of the cans. So looks like mystery has been solved

I went the first slot of the day recently, they were loading up the machine with signed cans. Also seems unnecessarily complicated to build a printer into a working coke vending machine?
Not saying you're bullshitting, just maybe the security guard didn't know (or was bullshitting) or like the guy on my day was temp staff, or that they have a signing machine out back.
Either way I'm not sure you need to fill any printer with ink each night... even the shite I bought from Currys.

One slightly obscure comment she made is that they will be doing it for three weeks, the exhibition is open for a year so guess this isnโt going to last forever.
My quick maths sum up is that the gallery is open for 5 days a week, means 15 days of coke cans x 300 per day equals 4500 of these. She did say โwhen they are gone theyโre goneโ so think any printing in the machine etc. Is highly unlikely and the machine is far too quick and standard for that, also the signature isnโt โwetโ when it comes out.
