I paid around ยฃ31 for a 400 euro piece which was ยฃ19 tax and ยฃ12 handling charges through Fedex.
The piece from the artist was a small canvas original, the other from an edition. ok cool and appreciate the info. Iโve been stung with a ยฃ187 bill to pay for a sculpture from EU that cost ยฃ860!! Works out to circa 21% all in def not 5% So looks like you've been charged 20% plus handling of cยฃ15. at 5% you should have paid more like ยฃ55 - ยฃ60, I think. I paid around ยฃ31 for a 400 euro piece which was ยฃ19 tax and ยฃ12 handling charges through Fedex. |

I paid Jan 28th and received shipping info with tracking link today, from EMS on behalf of ON SUNDAYS.
Before invoicing they wrote to me that all shipping to USA, Russia and Australia had stopped via EMS and that you would have to pay more for using UPS if living there. Donโt know where you live, but maybe it takes longer if you live in any of these countries.
Would definitely send them an email to check status next week if you donโt hear anything over the weekend.

I read 'tougher and more robust shipping materials' as very good news and "UPS" as bad news. Didn't expect it to be shipped by them. Now I start being concerned.
I paid on Jan. 6th, the gallery emailed to let me know it would hopefully ship on the 27th (Jan), but that they were waiting on 'tougher and more robust shipping materials' to ship via UPS. I have not heard anything form them since. Not too worried at the moment, but I'll email them at the end of the month if I don't hear from them.
