Classic Haring moving figure and joyously playful. Far better than the Crack Down poster that many of us also own, imo. Though that poster has its own qualities, including the vibrant colours.
I remain of the view that these were exceptional bargains and remain thankful to whomsoever first posted about them (I canโt now recall who that was).

If they have been stored well then there is no reason for them to still be in good condition Iโd have thought.
I understood them to have been all printed at the time.
However I only have what the gallery told me as the source for that.
That said, I understand them to be a reputable gallery.

Ah, your post suggested that they would print more beyond the stated run of 1,000. I just think some care has to be taken, as off the cuff statements like that can fuel rumours and more misinformation which can ultimately effect reputations.
The gallery has, as I understand it, said that these are limited to 1,000 and are all vintage (not printed recently).
If anyone has information that this isnโt true, then of course I want to hear it, as I own one of these. But idle speculation (not referring to you here, my friend, just generally) doesnโt help imo.

I think the purchasing by email in the last while deterred some people from purchasing. If they had been online in the last few months I think they would have sold out quickly.

It also makes no sense - it's not like they are actively advertising them. We only found out about them because of some astute collector and even then you have to e-mail to order, which again wasn't advertised. They also ignored people half the time. And if that is not enough evidence - they're just cheap posters !! So think about it before spreading these ridiculous rumours. And just to add - the Japanese know how to care for things - anyone who has been to Japan and has gone into a retro store will know what I mean. ย So the fact these are in mint condition after so long doesn't surprise me.
If you read the original thread most guys gave up purchasing as the gallery would not return emails, it took me 4 attempts over two months to request an invoice, this period they were dealing with added Enquiries as of the link here and returns as they sent out originally in unsuitable postal tubes, plus add the fact they may have trouble translating English all of which would slow sales.
Quite a few items previously assumed sold out has found its way here found by keen collectors.
If it were a scam they would easily be able to sell for triple the costs
Remember without the internet when these were first released as advertising posters, for a new artists how much interest would be in these originally? Then to be forgotten about until the internet has helped spread info

They were all proxied for friends, who still to this day have them up on the wall. (My one however is still in the flat file)
