As others have said no inner tube ๐ Just a couple of plastic bags taped to hold the rolled print in place. Amazingly no damage but not surprised there have been a few casualties.
on the up side it is a lovely print - the strange shiny paper is really smart - and condition (pre posting anyway!) for the early 80s, impressive.
They have obviously held a few back if people are getting replacements - just as well - I'd be gutted just to be offered a refund......

I've stuck mine in the plan chest until I get framing sorted, but image below is best I could find that almost gives the right impression. Others with good camera skills might be able to do it justice....

It amazes me how many outlets seem to give such little regard for the welfare of the art in transit. As previously said, the Japanese are usually sticklers for packaging. I can only assume that a) they don't recieve a huge amount of overseas orders and b) they were caught out by the recent demand. Either way it's a lesson many outlets seem to learn the hard way.
I was fortunate with mine, I feel gutted for those that weren't; and just hope they kept enough back to replace.

Feel very lucky that mine wasn't damaged as it only had those couple of bags and box. Crazy stuff, I would not package a ยฃ20.00 poster with so little protection.
Feel bad for those with damaged posters. Not what you need when are excited about receiving the delivery.
I hope there are enough spares to go around.

I received mine last week but had emailed them post order a couple of times with no response. Eventually got tracking info out of the blue.
