I didn't want to pollute the open thread in homage to Bast ... I loved him and still love him because he and Paul Insect, are inseparable, as birds, and  have always been different from other wellknown street artists, desecrating with their puppets, their humor, their characters disguised as pineapples or birds ( agin, yes they can fly ! ) , thus detaching themselves from certain serious and secret transactions, in short, they were popular, agitators, creative and - in Dismaland for example, under the malicious eye of Banksy - made us forget the money and the seriousness of business and transactions, now mixed with artists and art.

I had bought - when POW closed -  what was left and what I could, cheapest ones and when I was not at the job.

Posters, collages, above all, cheapest ones, testimonies of a time - I already had the two books from Pins - and I was eyeing Bast and PIns, the first Faile - members and parts of the family too, like others, inside  Le Grand Magic POW circus !   Alas everything was sold out quickly.

Yesterday night, still schocked,  I looked for a long time for a small poster, a paste of Bast as a souvenir, missing in my collection. And then I saw in a gallery that I love, Révolucion de Papel, now sold out.
I also saw, last night, in " Sales Ends ",  these same posters, not too expensive, sold around 50 euros etc.

And then this evening, surfing on the web, I saw this sale, disgusted, the scavengers are out: in not even one night, Révolucion de Papel de Bast (26 views per hour) had gone from 50/100 Quid, to a 599 GBP ( to be close of the 600 printed ? ) ?!

Shameful. How far will they go, all these bloody guys !

Here,  a certain, disgraceful and unwelcome lack of respect for the artist, Bast, who has just passed away. The "Papel Recovery" begins and it is not over.

Bast did not know the Hype, nor PIns ( even if they create so much, so different art ).

Tonight I think of Pins too, his friend, their project, and he must be devastated, his brother is gone.

Through Pins, Bast's shadow and memory will remain. Puppets, circus and street-art, graf and tags are immortal and sensitive.

This fairground and contemporary art is the closest to us, to the people, and we can thank them for their humor and their collages and their " joie de vivre " ; made of colors, laughter and gaiety under the grey clouds !

I did not knowwhere to place this post, ( after à Flipping Art ?  pur random, I took one hour to write it  ) -, Not in the Thread Bast, because of respect,  so I put aside, a bit far of all...

I hope to have not been clumsy, nor to have been too much lost in transalation saying words that  maybe could mean the opposite.  If so, sorry.
