Ryr devaluates money and tries to give it a new meaning/ value than sells it for crypto currency. So money as we know it is out of the loop. Destruction and creating something new is thought to the end, there is a truth in it which wasn't there before.
Also it pretty much fits the narrative real physical cash vs virtual crypto currency.

That was done by the KLF, I never got my head around this publicity stunt. If they didn't care about the money why not give it to someone in need?
