Yeh, I tried it once but the frame just separates it from the wall and was one of the reasons I bought it as it looks similar to Love is in the Bin.

I also wonder if Nick or anyone else having such a visceral reaction to this post also felt the same way about the canvases being sold in Central Park for $50 a few years back by a solitary older gentlemen? My point here is “what’s the harm”? The sellers being honest and the reality is that Mr. B’s work is no longer affordable to the people who have historically followed, supported and collected street artists. Personally it would be hard for me to swallow paying 400 + shipping to me in the US but maybe it shouldn’t be as an original of this work would be a thousand fold. I’d like to think I’d hang it next to the rest of my collection and me and my family would enjoy it as much as we do our original pieces. Anyway, just my thoughts. Carry on

It is clearly a fake and it would be destroyed if it made its way to PC as they wouldn't want it to fall into the wrong hands. Also Banksy wouldn't do these Central Parks stunts anymore as it would encourage more people to make and try to sell fakes. |

OP is just hoping somebody with more money than sense sees his ad, also loves the image and the exact same from and is too lazy to recreate this themselves.

I believe these fakes, copies, etc are illegal. If I go and copy someones work and sell it I have broken the law in many countries. Many sites delete this for these reasons and want nothing to do with sales of these things. I highly doubt the fake Banksy police are coming but this is why most sites take these down.
These things get sold as real sometimes. For every honest seller (? how honest buying fake copywritten works are) there are other people who might buy this and try to pass it off as real. Prob wont fly for a Banksy for 100s of 1000s but could happen with other works all the time
