We’ll be pushing the boot out for the maddest, eye-poppingly fabulous Art Car Booter to date as we celebrate ten years of fun, frivolity and astonishing art bargains. Anyone with a few quid in their pocket can become a collector for the day, and there’s so much to do and see besides! The wonderful spirit of the Art Car Boot Fair gets a fresh injection of talent every year and all artists are hand picked to let their hair down and flog their fabulous art from their car boots! You’d be hard pushed to beat it! Over 70 pitches, with Gavin Turk, Sir Peter Blake, Marcus Harvey & Turps Banana (and a rather special Nigel Cooke print, plus ‘White Riot’ exclusive amongst other delights), Bob & Roberta Smith, Polly Morgan, Mat Collishaw Billy Childish, Jessica Voorsanger, Pure Evil, Ian Dawson, Le Gun, David David, the Bethnal Greeen Working Men’s Club, Louis Eliot & the Embers, Fat White Family and so many more – full list on our artists page. As well as celebrating ten years, we’ll be remembering those we’ve lost along the way, dear friends who have graced our event over the years – most recently the fabulous Gigi of Trolley Books, Sebastian Horsley, Michael Wojas and Angus Fairhurst. We’ll be re-incarnating the much-missed Colony Room with a 1948 Vauxhall Velox and inimitable duo Sophie Parkin and Dick Bradsell taking on the roles of Muriel Belcher and Ian Board. Don’t be boring! Plus we’ll be paying homage and celebrating the 20 year anniversary of the brilliantly original ‘Fete Worse than Death’ with Darren Coffield’s wonderful book on Joshua Compston and Factual Nonsense memorabilia.

Dario tells me that Jealous will be there with some signed Charming Baker posters - the (really) big ones from the LA show plus some of the smaller paste-ups that haven't been available before. Some will be signed. The big ones are unfolded versions as far as I'm aware.

They are also running a novel 'photo-booth' where you can have a Russell Marshall mugshot done which the lovely Russell will sign for you and Jealous will frame on the spot. Sounds like a fun (and I'm told inexpensive) item. Russell will also have some of his smaller mugshot prints available - like the ones at his recent show, I think.

I'm just hoping the queue isn't too long to get in.

charming baker is only releasing posters, not new prints. if you get there for 9 in morning you will be fine.

Queue size/time will be dependant on Turps Banana output...

peter blake will be releasing two prints for the car boot art fair and one specially for the vauxall car which is edition of 110.

Tracey emin will be releasing a edtion of 200 prints ipad images. two different images.

mj bring a camping chair,  get there for 9 in the morning. you will be fine, no need for overnight.

All fun prints this year!.

Superman 9am Qing is much to late to get few bits by the big names artist, in the past two years I Q overnight and so did many others. It would be a nice if this year I did not had to do so.

This year Turps prints are not my cuppa of tea. Last year i got there at 8.30 in the morning i bagged a miller.

Nor mine. 

Love that Nigel Cooke print, one of my favourite artists.
