We just walked in (for free) around 10.30am via a different part of carpark (got lucky). Was thinking how quiet it all was but didnt realise they hadnt opened the gates yet. Managed to get a Pure Evil and the decent Peter Blake Hogarth one.

This is the exact reason why i dont queue for anything.

Were the Matty Small pieces signed ?

The pieces on tin were really nice - I saw one very early on but didn't want to commit to soon, by the time I went back both pieces were sold and all they had was one larger piece on metal for £1500 - the tin ones were an absolute steal and I can't believe I didn't jump in. The bonnet was another stunner as well - sorry but no pics from me today

Morning rain aside I thoroughly enjoyed it this year and it was great to meet .dappy and a few others

I was really looking forward to seeing Nick at work but it didn't look like he was having a good day, his NY Stencil was sticking and breaking up and he just wasn't in the game. He had sprayed a couple of books and a couple of the stencils at the start but didn't seem to complete anything else. When I left he had given up on the NY stencil and started the piece Dappy referred to - a skull with a bowler hat. As already said, the order list went from 'collect your piece in 90 minutes' to 'leave your address and we'll send them out. I did manage to leave with a stencilled and signed book

Ben Eine was milling around in the crowd and in great form - had a chat and a bit of a laugh with him. No appearance from Emin while I was there but she was expected so maybe she was due later in the day.

Peter Blake was there this year and signing a book - I just wasn't impressed with the ACBF print so didn't actually get in the queue for that one but the wrestler actually looked very nice framed up so took the plunge on that one.

The Black Gold canvases were great - they have to be stored / transported absolutely flat as it is literally a puddle of oil sitting on top of the canvas - instructions are to hang with the signature up the right way (to know which end is too), above a shelf and place a cup underneath to catch the dripping oil - it will eventually drain, it won't ever quite dry and is likely to remain 'tacky' so looks like it will need to be framed with glass otherwise you will be forever picking out fluff with a pair of tweezers.

Pure Evil was there with a nice selection of prints - and came with a new set of rules too - only 1 set or 1 of each print per person, so there were no families walking around with armfuls of PE while the majority went without this year which ensured a fair distribution of his prints - still sold out in less than an hour though.

I bought myself a nice Niels 'Shoe' Meulman print - retail price (I was told) £250 - Boot Fair price £100 and I am such a sucker for a bargain

I did an all-nighter getting there at about 1:30am so by 14:30 today was absolutely done. In sure the event was going to get even better as PE was hand- decorating a load of his Doulton ceramic bunnies and I heard him say that there would be more hand-finished prints in the afternoon. What with the car bonnet auction at the end too I think the day was just getting better and better

I popped back to pick up the nick walker NY piece; I was told that the stencil had broken and nick will have to make it again.

Does any one have any info on what prices,the auctioned car bonnets made ?

If anyone got a Rachel Howard dog print that they wish to shift please let me know.

How much did the pure evils cost? They were all gone when I made it to PE stall.

Name badges and a sticker next time for all boardies and I'm not certain how I'm going to stop things sticking to the oil guess some glass or Perspex will be needed
