Hello! again. ty and also good to see 11, Steph Rat Catcher, nipper, samboy, @letisss I'm sure a few other people spotted me, but were a bit shy  or didn't want to talk to 'that idiot' The duvet/woman thing was still there when I left ... I think people were afraid to touch it

The oil will move but over a long time ... I doubt very much you will get 'drips' unless there is a pocket of pure liquid that fractures ... enjoy it for years to come ... think of it as a living art installation it will probably outlast you ...
... what do you think the poor people who bought an egg have left, esp inside the shell ...
... btw my movements are very regular ... most mornings around 10.30am!

The ones on display had probably been vertical from the day he did them, the ones on sale have been sitting horizontal for a couple of days and look as though they have solidified. |

'we have been rather surprised today by the fact that the few we kept back in the studio from the edition aren’t moving either! We really thought they’d stay wet enough to still drip.
Anyway, in light of this Gavin’s done a few experiments this morning and has found that using a hairdryer on its lowest setting to get it moving works best and is really happy with the effect. He’s found that holding it about 30 cms away from the canvas, pointing centrally down works best. It takes a while for movement to begin but when the top layer breaks it then moves on its own quite quickly.
Have a go at that and see how you get on. Alternatively you can have it as not dripping as Gavin actually quite likes them like that but perhaps that is throwing the cat amongst the pigeons.'
