For anyone looking to hang these from a banner pole as the artist intended, I contacted the Serpentine Gallery and they've replied saying "the display pole was produced by our technicians and is very simple to make. I will be sure to ask our team and will let you know as soon as I hear back from them." I'll update as and when.

The Serpentine have informed me that they simply used two cup hooks to support a length of wooden dowel, all of which were painted gloss white. Whilst I'm charmed by their DIY aesthetic, those looking for a more finished and ready-made system could do worse than this little Argos number for ยฃ15 ... www.ebay.co.uk/itm/HOME-Fixed-Wooden-Curtain-Pole-Set-Choice-of-Colour-and-Size-Argos/331885149961?hash=item4d45e57f09:m:mYI1HNk5ahsUCfu1vs-9vVw#shpCntId
