New Yorkers gonna be servin' theyselves before helping anyone else out. Uhhh…. and the sneaker community only buys what they want to personally wear and will help out others before themselves? While a large percentage of both communities are in it for the profit I would say more collectors here started out with the right intent having a true interest in street art, while many sneaker peeps got into it solely (ha!) for the profit from the get go.

I went to the Sneaker Store on 12th in the Meat Packing District and they said that they never had any of these posters. It is a bit banged up and has layers of paint on the back but it is definitely got lots of NYC attached to the wheatepaste.

I was only able to secure one for DMATT - I will be in the city later today and hopefully will find more.
I also reached out to a friend of mine that works at Adidas in Marketing to see if I can get some clean ones.

I checked with SNS and unfortunately they said that they worked with a separate company to put the posters up. The manager that was at the store said they have no clue who since their corporate handled it. We exchanged numbers so now it’s a waiting game if he can find anything.
