Ebay and Auction Sabatour **Member Scam**, by Imoy-San on Apr 13, 2008 14:57:45 GMT 1, Alsbabar, your point is?
Your comment adds nothing to this rather complex situation.
I can guarantee that POW will cancel your order if you're caught flipping one of their sought-after prints in the Sunday Times! Makes no difference where it is flipped. Read the POW terms and conditions - "Picturesonwalls reserve the right to issue refunds at any time prior to delivery."
Back to this alleged scam. I have stuff available on AS, I am sure forum members would like some more details about this, so as not to fall victim. What are the details?
Y
"Alsbabar wrote" I know someone who put his pieces on AS and as soon as he did, POW sent him an email cancelling his order stating and the reason being , that they saw his pieces on Ebay, when they werent on Ebay, just on AS. - read into that what you will!!!

Ebay and Auction Sabatour **Member Scam**, by Deleted on Apr 13, 2008 15:34:55 GMT 1, not to bring up the past, but what exactly happened with FPR? I remember the first time around some pretty harsh comments and accusations were flying around (publicly I might add)

after posting my comment, you are right yomster, i didnt think it was relevant - so decided to remove it, so why then did you feel the need then to copy it? You complete contradict yourself with your opening line, then add it to your comments. However now that you have re-raised its ugly head, let me put you straight!!!
These items WERE NOT on ebay - they WERE ONLY on AS, so tell me what your point is? How the hell did POW get this persons details that pinpointed the sale on AS to the print that POW sold to this person? Only one way I know of, and that is if someone gave POW that persons contact details!!!

Ebay and Auction Sabatour **Member Scam**, by fastrack on Apr 13, 2008 16:59:52 GMT 1, Until he was banned from this forum for having a sense of humour, there was a member here who'd built up an comprehensive dossier of fakes, scams and their perpetrators, and acted selflessly in helping people get their money back, liasing with both P.O.W., trading standards officers, ebay and even the filth. He can be found on w a l l k a n d y . n e t, pm me and I'll give you his username. And don't name names here, the scammer will almost certainly be a member of this forum and will scarper, I've seen it happen a few times already this year. I wasn't talking about finsburyparkranger, I'd have thought it obvious to all (alibertine in particular) that he can be contacted through his own site, auctionsaboteur, and that his membership here, or rather lack of it, has furk all to do with alibertine's predicament. I was refering to 'hungrig', one of the most knowledgeable people to have graced this forum.
ALB - i would say that most people who you would have directed that at, would have known that you meant the bearded one and not FPR.

hmmm, i suppose that in theory the person who owns a website is privy to all the users' details so they could access them whenever they want. OR, if the website does not use a secure connection (HTTPS) then someoen could hack the site and get all the information. I'm not sure but I don't think AB uses secure connections...could be wrong though!

As ALB says, he's been doing more than anyone to help prevent the spread of fake Banksys, and to help out people who have been stung. It seems rather bizarre that he's not allowed to come on here.

Ebay and Auction Sabatour **Member Scam**, by stuey09 on Apr 13, 2008 21:23:43 GMT 1, Morning all. Just wandered if anyone had experienced sellers on either of these two sites, as i just have, who have taken your money and run a flght of stairs? 3000 pounds down the s**tter. These two cold fingers ect! If you loose your faith in love, art and music, the end will be nigh. Thanks all. Lib
Sorry for coming in late on this thread. However, I think it is fair to say that the title of the thread is very poorly worded, misleading and borders on libelous.
My first impression from reading your title, alibertine, was that Auction Sabatour (and ebay) had scammed you. This made me very cautious in dealing with Auction Sabatour as I have no wish to be ripped off in any of my dealings. It is only through careful reading of further posts that it appears to be a problem with an individual scamming you and not the site.
Before I consider using this site, could you please confirm whether it is Auction Sabatour that scammed you or an individual that used the site?
Thank you in advance for clarifying this.

This thread and your imput is not necessary just re-hashing old news, but I guess you get a kick out of that. best thing that could happen now is, it gets locked. welcome back, ha ha .PS I'm flattered you took the time to read through my 700 posts, mind you I wouldnt have thought you had the time what with all the crap you are posting.
I presume you know what you are talking about, because I'm damned if I do. You have been on this forum for five minutes yet you think you know it all, strange that!!! clearly reading the forum before you post is not allowed? you've made 700 posts and seemingly know nothing. the clever dumb balance is restored. If I didnt know better I would say this is dear fpr under a pseudonym, 34 posts on your first day, must be some kind of record, yet another talking head. Ebay and Auction Sabatour **Member Scam**, by dotdot on Apr 13, 2008 22:01:50 GMT 1, Hungrig As ALB says, he's been doing more than anyone to help prevent the spread of fake Banksys, and to help out people who have been stung. It seems rather bizarre that he's not allowed to come on here.
An a nice helpful guy to boot - has helped me out on occasion - with dodgy people who litter the market with occasional questionable auctions.
Without guidance from folks like alb and hungrig this here forum is a weak talking shoppe. (not withstanding many others of course fpr and hps )

Ebay and Auction Sabatour **Member Scam**, by Heavyconsumer on Apr 13, 2008 22:02:12 GMT 1, Fastrack is no newbie. All his posts, attitude and comfort level make that very clear. I've been itching to ask who he is, even before catching up on this thread - a person not opposed to pi$$ing others off and probably known for it, but what previous screen name is the question. So, Who are you really Fastrack?" No way are you a new poster on here, that much is very clear. You've clearly been around long before I was (not that that's saying much!!!)
