Probably for a lot more than 2K obviously but it wont be hard to buy them. I’m not sure about buying an NFT on eBay. I doubt it’s easy or even recommended. By the time the originals reach peoples hands they will probably be worth a lot more than 2k and will be out of reach of most people who originally entered I would imagine.

This was a silly extra mechanic added to fit in with all the other generative NFTs. Some buyers love it, most probably don’t give a damn. It’s not real “rarity” when they’re all similar splodgy, drippy, overlapping paintings. Doesn’t detract from liking the paintings anyway though.

Theres no guarantee at all these will do better than his prints once they are all out. Shrigley and Creed uniques have barely scraped by their release prices on the secondary market |

It's not the first time that myself or others highlight this attitude. So, if you don't want people to just block you, be nice! We all saw your art tastes and even if discutible, nobody slagged you for that - So why should you, instead? My comment was on the absurdity of the concept of "rarity" with these. Amount of ink, drips or no drips, overlaps, and paper weight? That can apply to anything . The concept of it being currency is entirely counterintuitive to the concept of one piece having more or less value than other due to "rarity". A current issued dollar bill with serial number 124 has no more or less value than and the current issued dollar bill with serial 546, even though both are unique. And even though I don't agree with crypto,the same thing applies there as well. Additionally, the more information and details that have emerged since the idea was originally posted shows the lack of direction of the concept and makes it appear be more of a cash grab and marketing ploy than anything else.

I agree derivitive that all that rarity classification stuff smells like BS, but what I do like about this experiment is to see how many will end up choosing the NFT vs paper and to follow the experiment as it develops. |
