Ill send it off to my printer to see what he says. Gonna get front and back printed and framed and then see what happens with NFT over the next year (after Ive stored it in a hardware wallet - obvs lol (like I have a fucking clue what Im doing fFor Sale)). It's around 300dpi at 90-100cm wide... which is a good, sharp resolution for that size.
Mine has a fair border around it as downloaded. Cropped close to the edges of the artwork, it measures 86 x 62 cm at 300dpi.
That's quite big!
300 DPI is obviously ideal, but you ought to be able to get a more than reasonable print over a metre wide at 250 dpi.

I've added Palm to metamask but I still have no mention of an NFT in my metamask wallet. I got confirmation from Heni to say it has been sent. So where is it??? What am I doing wrong?
Nothing. Just have PALM on and go to your Heni page and to "my NFTs" and you'll see it.

Because they need a few big sales for PR/ the media. Like the entire NFT crazy it’s all marketing. I think on average NFTs are loosing money. They need one or two random big sales for the follow up articles about this project. Also helps keeps the average sales prices up a little.

That was one sale. Could be any number of reasons for it.
If you were a cash-rich "posse" trying to push up sales you'd probably buy more than one, wouldn't you? One outlier purchase isn't going to do anything.

That file size they gave everyone -people are going to make really good prints/bootlegs of these and illegally sell them. I don't think you have the right to sell the image -even with the NFT ownership. But people will try.... I wouldn't be surprised to see these in vacation tourist art galleries or online.
I'm just surprised at the file they gave. That size file you can take it to a professional and they can blow the image up extremely well with fantastic quality. Probably looks just like one of their prints they released.

If you just want it on in your wall, don't do anything for two months. If you followed the instructions provided by Heni telling you how to connect Metamask and you can now see your NFT in 'My NFTs', you're done. You don't need to do anything else until September, when you'll get the option to burn the NFT and get the painting.

I'm just wondering once everyone finally figures out how to even get the NFT - you might see a huge amount on secondary later today or tomorrow. It will be fun to see what the market is like after a year on these. If the NFT remains on average in the 5-6k USD range - will people keep the NFT or trade for the original?

I try to add it manually but it asks me for the collectible address and collectible ID. Where can I find this information. However I think we should have the NFT in our wallet, the same way I have my tokens. Just an Icon or something isn’t it? If Heni’s website disappears or gets hacked (unlikely but possible) how do I proof I have a Damien Hirst NFT in my wallet?

Damien Hirst NFT "The Currency", by Extra Ball on Jul 30, 2021 15:35:33 GMT 1, must admit that I am quite disabused with all this circus. i was lucky enough to get a winning ticket and just want to take this on my wall. and now the more time passes, the more I find it all complicated. damn, i'm 49 and i feel dumped. 1) my nft is not in my metamask but on the heni platform? true? 2) I need to open a Palm account to be able to see it on my heni account? true? 3) what is metamask for? 4) do I have to put funds on metamask in addition? 5) why are some already for sale on heni? sorry but I'm starting to not feel good anymore! If you just want it on in your wall, don't do anything for two months. If you followed the instructions provided by Heni telling you how to connect Metamask and you can now see your NFT in 'My NFTs', you're done. You don't need to do anything else until September, when you'll get the option to burn the NFT and get the painting.

I thought this and I said it to my girlfriend before she listed it but she says she didn't need any. They transfer 0.5 PALM with the NFT which covers the gas. I'm not exactly sure whether that amount changes over time or what.

I registered, checked, downloaded, linked, connected, clicked and hey presto I can see an image of something real but not real and on a site not in a wallet that's rare, but common.
I'm $2k lighter and still do not fully understand what I've done or what I've got but right now I'm pleased with the achieve at least.
