Art clearout - FAILE - Eelus - Nick Walker, by daveart on Jul 19, 2021 16:35:44 GMT 1, Clearing out some items from large corporate collection. These have hung since purchase in non smoking environment with no direct light.
* NEW * adding a couple of old school FAILE pieces..
FAILE Bunny Boy - Edition 11 - Professionally float mounted - UV plexi - $850.00
FAILE Bunny Girl - Edition 11 - SOLD SOLD SOLD !!!
Likely $350 in framing on bunny boy so you are getting an old school hand embellished FAILE for $500..
They two somewhat cheaply framed in pre made metal frames - have been inspected out of frame and no damage visible.

Nick Walker - Born to Bomb 2007 - thinking $500 usd + shipping
Also listed on auction site but if anyone wants them and wants to make a reasonable offer before i get bids shut them early

is that a question ? anything i can help you with ?? here is a link to a small section of the collection that we put of as a public show a few years back. i dont believe any of the pieces currently for sale were in that show..but with 250-300 items at the time we have to pick a grouping and go for it..

i try to sell pieces at reasonable prices and provide good clear communication. If anyone is unhappy with a piece - we take it back. Only happened one time i believe - a FAILE piece a buyer was disappointed about framing hinges on the back - we took the piece back at full refund. A Hush piece was damaged in shipment and we worked with the buyer to come up with a resolution. I've been at this art game for twenty years haha i've seen it all. sadly been doing more selling than buying for two years.. and no one is in our offices now anyway ! strange times..
oh and FAILE Bunny Girl is SOLD SOLD SOLD.. off to a new home and i hope they enjoy it for many years.

Fair question - I admit that Retna's chaotic life - and even more chaotic instagram (seems more sane lately after her returned from his time off ) had an impact in our continued collecting of his artwork. I havent ever had anyone - other than this forum- ever dig into the artist enough to even ask the question. For now - as we rotate art around quite a bit - some of those Retna pieces have been sold in the last few years and the sangria and a few others are at my house. Retna's issues have been discussed enough on the Retna pages - so - dont really have anything new to add here. He has worked with SF Ballet and other corporate sponsors so I guess a good number of people have moved on from those events. I didnt sell Retna because of those old news stories - was just time to let a few go.. but we did stop buying new. if that makes sense..
