Print repair, by healer on Aug 18, 2021 6:01:39 GMT 1, A couple months I was lucky enough to get a Print. Iโd like to present to you all the before and after photos.
The amazing conservator that done this work for me was New Zealand based Camilla Buskcomb. If your interested in her details let me know and I can pass them on.
I couldnโt be happier with the result, the print is now flawless!
This was not stuck to any matting or adhered to any kind of backing..photos and process to follow

Print repair, by healer on Aug 18, 2021 6:33:58 GMT 1, Before any work was done Camilla had to test the ink in the signature and of the print to ensure they would be stable enough to withstand the restoration/humidification process.
Ultrasonic humidification was used on the crease lines to relax the paper fibres; then humidified creases were pressed between blotting paper and glass weights to reduce the distorted lines.
Lastly the whole print was Humidifed and the print pressed overall between blotters and boards to flatten for over three weeks. Plus some other tricks of the trade she cant disclose
It was a lengthy process but well worth it. Her husband is also a framer so he is in the process of framing it by floating it in a white frame behind museum glass with a red spacer. I will upload the photos once completed

Print repair, by healer on Aug 18, 2021 7:30:51 GMT 1, I'm colorblind and can see a color difference between the two. Do you not see it? Look at the helmet color between the two.
The photos were taken at different times of the day and in different lights, there is bound to be variations in colour. If you have a look ALL (e.g red in background, yellow in glasses) colours between the before and after prints are different (brighter). What is your point?
