Especially the cost of quality Walkman and cassette players!
Still got all of mine. Hundreds of them. Lots of tapes of Peel, including festive 50’s.
Remember doing mix tapes for mates and girlfriends. A lost art!

I don’t have an MP3 player, but could do one of the others. Especially now I’ve bought a minirig (recommended to me) so I can play it with a decent sound quality.

I've seen them quite a few times, but not as intimate as the Kidderminster gig. I was fortunate enough to see them play an entire gig for Jools Holland at the BBC, I was standing behind Steve Lamacq... my claim to fame! 😄
