So now they have to get the artwork to the winning bidder.
I think Christies will probably send them an email with a WeTransfer download link. Or maybe they will use Hightail? No, probably WeTransfer, you get the first 2GB free if you have a verified email. Do you think they have a verified email?

I once heard a quote a that comes to mind. " I used to encourage every to make art, After terry, I dont do that much anymore"

NFT Art , by Lord Lucas Roham on Mar 11, 2021 19:23:21 GMT 1, NFT art is utterly horrendous and without any artistic merit or pedigree.
It's crypto fuccbois flexing some muscle and I am saying that as someone who's made 6 figures on Bitcoin and other crypto.
It's without merit. If you though crypto was a pyramid scheme then this is the pyramids of Giza.
It's the artistic equivalent of a 80's Athena poster of a trippy Mona Lisa smoking a doobie.
Shit.

They don't know that.
The "outside the circle" artists don't know that.
It's intentional, a group is trying to create the illusory market even if it bubbles. Edit:
Like I mentioned before open the product up, see what is being used to give it value, buy that instead, as that is what is B ing invested, fortified, growing in strenght..not the actual wagon.

NFT Art , by vvk on Mar 11, 2021 19:32:04 GMT 1, all kidding aside, actually im really crying now. like seriously. its only a matter of time before hirst, Kaws banksy, and other wanker artist start to use blockchain for authenticity purpose. I can easily see team banksy switch to NFTS for their Outdated COA. especially when it comes to limiting a potential buyers ability to resell a piece of artwork for a specific time after purchase. I believe kaws is already using RFID tags so this is just the next step from a authenticity standpoint. It might even be implemented in BBAY.

NFT Art , by Gentle Mental on Mar 11, 2021 19:54:44 GMT 1, I think most folks are missing the point here. Most NFT art is shit now. 99 percent utter screensaver rubbish. But it will get better. Wait till the names you love jump in. They will. after this Beeple sale. NFT eliminates most if not all middleman costs. From galleries to printers to shipper and marketing monkeys. It can - go straight from Cindy Sherman’s eye to your OLED wall. Or your Epson printer. The artist could make physical copies that can be replaced upon request. With no fear of counterfeits degenerating their value. The advantages will only grow as the tech improves. As would the market.
I bet everyone from Ai Weiwei to Banksy to Kaws Hirst Murakami etc are all figuring out what is the most on brand way of doing this. Wait for it.

Why cant an artist simply email a jpg if the goal is cut out 'the middleman'? Straight to your epson!

We were laughing about it together earlier. Best one yet, incredibly talented self taught painter, ex graffiti writer too. This for Nuart a few years ago.

I’m just very excited by rhe possibilities.
Okay folks.
Let’s wait for that Kaws/Banksy/Hirst/Ai weiwei NFT release....
Oh and Hockney - he has loads in his iPad.
And we will revisit this thread. And see how everyone feels then.
$69000000!
