But if you believe in it... Seems like a good price compared to just a couple of months. More than a half off?
Again - The US regulations and taxes coming are going to kill all this. At 60,000s people should have pulled some out. No major company like Apple are going to accept this anytime soon. For small businesses it makes even less sense.
If anything, I would suggest to sell after the next little up swing. Just wondering if there is even another pump and dump before regulations come out. Some billionaire might try and make one quickly. It's going to a rocky road for investors in crypto this next couple months.
Sad things is many young kids got into this during the pandemic and it'll be sad to see them lose a lot of their savings on it. I really hated, the later end of this, when all these celebs and Shark Tank celeb/investors - trying to pump and dump this crap on twitter fans and regular investors. They really took advantage of these people.

NFT Art , by jimmyjam on May 20, 2021 18:17:06 GMT 1, This is just the beginning of regulations. Companies already know through lobbyist to get out. PayPal and companies will not allow you take out crypto to other wallets due to these up coming regulations which no company wants to deal with. Balance sheets have a lot to do with this but it's the regulations that these lobbyist already know are coming... ouch
At some point if crypto really dies, it will be hard to take out any cash from these services (coinbase) that sell it. I keep saying this is actually old technology... never invest in old technology. It's been around for a decade now and hasn't proven anything. This is just all for fun and gambling. That is it. Even NFTs are bs. They don't need to be made on Eth. So that whole things is total crap as well.
People who put money in this during this second wave... It's going to hurt.

That’s right - the amount of bandwidth available is tiny, so it is designed for sensor readings rather than any sort of web browsing or downloading, so there’s no issue with people hijacking your connection as it’s kilobytes per second, and on top of that, the cost to transfer even a single web page would be prohibitive.

Coincidentally I was just looking into this. How do you get the hardware - I’m seeing it as pretty much sold out.

Definitely regret not getting into this when i first heard about it in March This is also an information and network security risk. Just remember that you are liable if something comes from your internet connection. There is negligible risk associated with this. The available bandwidth is so low that nothing of any note can be transferred; it is text only. Plus, you would need something that can speak via LoRa in order to get on the network, and you also have to pay for data credits. This is nothing like running a Tor exit node. You are more at risk of someone cracking poorly implemented encryption on your current Wi-fi than you are of them leveraging this to download illegal stuff. Plus, there is established precedent for these sorts of bandwidth sharing arrangements (it is turned on by default on BT wireless). You should of course do your own research, and I am no way attempting to assert an “appeal to expertise” argument here, but I have a Masters in Cybersecurity, and will be starting a doctorate in Cybersecurity at the end of the year, focusing on IoT security. I will happily run this on my own network.
As for getting hardware, get on the presales list with Bobcat, as they’re likely to be the quickest, but you’ll be waiting at least 20 weeks, I think. Rewards half in August, but you’ll still make enough to pay for the miner in a couple of months. Plus you’re providing a really useful service that will become incredibly important as more and more IoT devices are rolled out.

The New York Times recently quoted a French artist taken aback to learn that their “release of six crypto-artworks consumed in 10 seconds more electricity than [their] entire studio over the past two years.” Similarly, Elon Musk’s recent large-scale transactions in proof-of-work-based Bitcoin released more carbon into the atmosphere in just a few days than the amount saved, in principle, by all the Teslas ever sold.

Disagree. I was in at AMC at $9 something in the middle of April, it's done wayyyyy better than NVIDiA.

I have 3 relatively famous friends who have all minted NFT’s in the hopes of making some cash, and guess what. Only one has sold one of his NFT’s for a paultry $1,500. So, if there is no secondary market and no primary market, then guess what. The NFT art world is a non existent wannabe bubble.
I have heard folks try to say the snobby art world doesn’t understand. It is just like street art where the powers that be tried to stave off the wave of commercial interest. However we all know that to be bullkaka.
