Vanguard Banksy's Question, by churchwood on Sept 20, 2021 15:11:45 GMT 1, Finally made it to Vanguard at the weekend on at the M-Shed in Bristol.
Some really cool stuff on show. A real mixture of history of the Bristol scene and some really cool new works.
The Rowdy collection of small canvases and the Lucas Price and Mr Jago in the flesh were amazing.
I hadn't realised they had a few Banksys too and it got me thinking. Monkey Detonator was loaned as were the others; if you are the owner, what sort of guarantees and insurance must you have to have to loan something that potentially if damaged is irreplacable?
cool show though - did a couple of circuits and the Icy and Sot video installation (well more of a video mirror) was stunning
