The Factory Project - 67,640 sq ft of new exhibition space, by Nicholas on Oct 2, 2021 20:12:29 GMT 1, Hi all,
Thought some of you might be interested in a project I've been working on for the last year or so that is scheduled to launch on the 9th October and run over frieze weekend. Hopefully some of you would have already seen some of the press about the The Factory Project, or seen it popping up on Instagram... if not, i thought i'd pop it in here in the home that some of you might be keen.

The Factory Project is an independent museum-scale exhibition that is set to open as one of the largest curated events scheduled to take place during London's Frieze Week. It takes place at the monumental Thameside Industrial Estate, a 67,640 sqft warehouse and yard complex in North Woolwich, Newham – a short walk from London’s City Airport and nestled between the Tate & Lyle’s Sugar Refinery and the Thames Barrier – on Factory Road.
The project has been initiated to support emerging to mid-career artists and curators and is presented as a multi-disciplinary survey project. This exhibition plays host to 10 UK based independent curators / curatorial platforms; each producing their own exhibitions within the larger factory site and will be showcasing upwards of 110 artists.
