Had never previously heard of Terry Urban.
In the interest of candour, the pieces you've posted leave me with a feeling of slight embarrassment. Stylistically and thematically, they are patent Wes Lang ripoffs.
In your position as a gallery — and therefore as a gatekeeper / educator — going forward, I would encourage you to seek out artists with more singular voices, and to shun those whose work is so obviously derivative.
It is my view that coattail-riding should be called out rather than promoted.

Maybe Terry’s work isn’t for everybody but there’s hundreds of thousands of people enjoying watching him paint and loves what he does .
I’m happy to see him rise as an artist
