I buy it, sell it to a friend, then he contacts you for a new COA on the Blockchain?

Artcestry just gives you another option to create a coa that is enCRYPTed into a blockchain which makes it tamper proof and practically indestructible. In this case, the original coa is associated to the Artcesty version. If you create an account and log in you will see it in the "Supporting Document" section.
When someone purchases the artwork the current owner assigns the Artcestry coa by email address of the new owner. The new owner simply logs into Artcesty.com and accepts the transfer. Artcestry process the information and a new printable (.pdf) coa is created with QR code. Artcestry keeps a running record of the transaction in its history -tab. That's it!
