I know of someone else who got a Reflection through and didn’t immediately receive a request for fees and duty. I, however, received my request via SMS from FedEx with a link for payment. It worked out as 21% and their fee of £12.

I purchase a lot from overseas from the UK and I’ve never received fees after delivery, always before. FedEx send a text and won’t deliver until payment is made.

How what would work? I have customs charges weekly and all couriers do it the same way. Once you pay your customs charges, you then receive delivery.

If you were going to get charged I’m 99% sure you would have already. I have seen someone mention before they had received a letter after delivery, but in my experience and I’ve lost count of how many customs charges I’ve paid over the years, I’ve never received a package without paying first.

I haven't had any FedEx deliveries for a while, but all the ones I've had in the past send you an invoice after delivery.

I have seen this said before so I’m sure this has happened in the past and maybe still does sometimes, but every package I’ve had with FedEx I’ve always received a text first.

Sorry, but you're wrong.
Plenty do keep the package until you pay, but there are some (TNT/FedEx and DHL are two that I can name) that sometimes send the invoice via mail/SMS after delivery. I don't know what the trigger is for them to use this method.
For example, a package I received from the US was delivered on the 6th Jan and I received the customs invoice on the 19th Jan.

Like I said, they may still do this. I’m just speaking from experience, I’ve received packages from all the main carriers and never received invoice after receiving.

If you don't pay by a set day you will be charged extra and if you still refuse to pay they sell the debt on to a debt collection agency which obviously could result in court action

Number 4 was my initial first pick too but it showed up as immediately sold out for me. This one was a very close second though and I’m not in any way disappointed by it. Please post some photos of number 4 when you get it.

Paul Insect The Observer, by travispete1 on Jan 27, 2021 11:57:55 GMT 1, I’m in the US and received my Observer 3 yesterday. It was magnificently packaged and the pictures don’t do it justice. No import charges here. I can’t believe how striking the purple is. I was a bit tempted to resell given the crazy prices but this piece is truly very special.
Thank you AA and PIn
