Looks like more people liked the little MC Escher. It sold for a stunning 13k GBP Hammer, so in total over 16k!

Or about right?

Phillips Art Auctions • New York, Hong Kong & London, by Love Is In The Air on Jan 23, 2020 17:56:17 GMT 1, Rags is a giclee print which put people off it when sold at White Cube for £3600 and at least initially at secondary, from memory. It also doesn't have his name on the author bit (which again some people like I think in the classic style).
Previous sales of Rags at Phillips before today have been £8125 a year ago and £12,500 and £15,625 in 2018 so I would say today's sale is decent enough without being outstanding/shocking.

Phillips Art Auctions • New York, Hong Kong & London, by Happy Shopper on Jan 23, 2020 18:05:21 GMT 1, Some of these prices are crazy. KAWS Small Lies went for £3,200. With Buyers Premium, that's £4,160. You can pick these up in loads of places for around £300 each. And they keep selling sets of Small Lies in every suitable auction. Bit suspicious.

There's more and more choice out there.

Hammer price without comission/fees. So essentially what the seller could have netted unless he/she also paid fees.

Phillips Art Auctions • New York, Hong Kong & London, by pr.yu on Jan 24, 2020 0:25:32 GMT 1, Wow. This is insane. It's only a matter of time before things crash, right? I mean all the modern stuff blew the doors off the estimates. This seems unsustainable. And that's Phillips. Christie's is gonna want to do a print auction every month at these prices.
