Before then, not many people even considered NFTs and still donโt care about them. Heniโs long-term business model is about making money off sales commission (with nearly $90 million in sales so far) which is why they gave the GE away for free. Edgar Plans should be very mindful of this and not overprice at launch. Hopefully their hype is to generate a resale market. |

Hirst had 32,472 entries to the lottery (applying for 67,023 NFTs)... So bigger actual numbers of serious buyers... at the moment at least.

That one in particular stalled after minting but the writing was on the wall as it was really only marketed as an art NFT unlike the utility hinted at early in the Currency phases and what EP currently has spelled out in his roadmap.
A good opportunity to get in at a reasonable price with lots of potential but I do worry about EPs ability to deliver given recent threads around his COAs.

Hope your assessment is right in their ability to deliver but the mint price will be interesting to watch.
Keep in mind:
- Shepard Fairey launched at 0.1 eth ($400ish which I thought was cheap) and has been below that mark since launch
- DHC which was $2k (and has resulted in utility x times greater than that)
- Gal Yosef (Crypto Bulls) launched at 0.22eth ($900ish)
And given that the trad art world doesnโt come with the same hype (despite blue chip status) as BAYC/CryptoPunks, EP will have to consider the above trad art launches carefully to gauge whether he prices it like a BAYC or DHC.
IMO $2k might be on the high side given recent comps but it wouldnโt surprise me given the ambitious roadmap.
