Long Story Short, Edgar Plans and a team of developers created 2+ years ago the Lil Heroes NFT project based on Edgar Plans design of Lil Heroes.
Pumped from the beginning, the sale of the NFTs was immediate and the team generated an enormous amount of money (Edgar Plans cashed $3M+ ). After a while main developer abandoned and project passed to Exile Group. No perks were generated by LH NFTs except some signed books by giveaways (if I remember correctly). After 2 years they created a parallel "Lil Villains" to generate more money; linking LH and LV in a "training camp website" allowed you to secure "points" based by how long you keep your LH/LV and how many you have.
Yet, nothing was given to holders. Holders were always promised new developments "soon". Of course purge of the "FUD"s aka people pissed off of waiting and smelling the scam. After a while, all mods fired / left and now also the CEO of the project disappeared with a Goodbye and F'Off message to all.
The Website and the Discord is basically unmanaged.
Edgar Plans in his kindergarten english explained that he is only "a little partner" (cashing out the money though) and a "collector like everyone else" but he has no power for the website, the discord and the project.
So basically a "soft" rug pull and a total failure of control by Edgar Plans that thanks to collectors fooled has cashed out an enormous amount of money.

The artist Edgar Plans did a NFT release online and thousands of people got scammed and lost money by buying fake NFT's that were sold under the artists name and using images the artist is known for. When the artist was confronted by victims like me that lost thousands of dollars and also recommended friends and family to buy these NFT's - the artist blamed the NFT company and the NFT company blamed the artist. Instead of pulling the NFT release they let it carry on and continued to sell non authentic nft's and many times people just bought air and never even got a fake NFT.
